Our New Role

It's been a busy year! We relocated with all of our permanent sanctuary residents and revamped the mission of Flower Feline Sanctuary. The plan is to boost other small organizations taking in and helping kitties who have nowhere else to turn so that we can both help more cats, as well as support the folks doing hard work in their communities. Flower Feline Sanctuary's grant programs assists volunteer run rescue organizations who need additional funds to accomplish trap/neuter/return or pay for extraordinary medical costs for rescued kitties. Trying to fund raise while trapping, rescuing and managing hands on care for kitties is an additional burden; so our grants relieve a tiny bit of stress for these organizations.

In 2025, we've helped: Rescue Kitties of Hawai’i of Hawaii, Whiskers without Borders of Imperial, CA, Lucky Paws Animal Foundation of Hawaii, Furry Faces Foundation of Los Angeles, CA, Ollie's Pack Rescue & Transport of Fountain Valley, CA, ww.bellyrubngrub.org of Lancaster, CA www.northcounty-pawscause.org of Northern San Luis Obispo County in CA, and Karlee's Angels of San Jacinto, CA. Hawaii faces topographical issues of transporting cats for medical care and frequently has to send cats off the island to find homes. California sadly has one of the highest kill rates in shelters in the country; these groups, along with many others, pull cats and kittens about to be put down. Cats facing hunger, the constant cycle of reproducing, and death don't know what state they live in, nor do I imagine they care. We want all cats everywhere to have a home where they are loved and cared for. Email us for grant guidelines and an application - maybe we can help you help more kitties!

My beloved late Paddy and Lottie, both pictured below, were saved from a senseless death via a transport to their new and wonderful life in Washington.
